recommendations/testimonials
Thomas Robertello - Professor of Flute, Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University
"I have known Cindy for a number of years and have worked with many of her students in lessons, masterclasses... and with several later in their [collegiate] studies at Indiana University [Bloomington]. Cindy's teaching skills, enthusiasm for music, and motivational energy are all completely evident in her students' playing and interest in the flute. She trains flutists thoroughly in all basic issues: hand position, embouchure, tone, intonation, technique, and solo repertoire. Her students are poised, comfortable, and most of all, familiar with efficient practice techniques... Indeed, her students are consistently some of the finest players that I have heard. I have complete faith in her ability to teach at every level of skill and natural musical ability. Cindy is a consummate professional and one of the most organized teachers in the flute community. I am happy to offer my highest recommendation."
Patricia George - Co-Author: Flute 101, 102, 103, The Scales Book, Advanced Studies: The Art of Chunking
"Cindy is an excellent musician... a gifted soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player... She is a fantastic teacher... Her students are well taught and enthusiastic about learning... It is my pleasure to recommend her as a flutist and flute professor."
Victoria Jicha - Editor, Flute Talk (Flute Talk Magazine - Private Studio Profile)
"Seldom does such a ball of fire cross my path as Cindy Anne Broz. She has a Type-A personality and the energy and organization to match. It is no surprise that her studio is successful considering the creative ways she keeps students motivated."
